Croatia is a renowned sailing destination with a rich nautical tradition and over 1,200 stunning islands and islets lining its picturesque Adriatic coast. Charter bases here are conveniently located near airports and provide safe mooring in scenic surroundings, complete with guest amenities like offices, restaurants, markets, and laundromats.
Ultra Sailing has been based in Split since 1995, dedicated to meeting the needs of our guests. We have chosen top destinations like Dubrovnik, Trogir, Split and Pula, all close to airports, as our primary charter locations in Croatia.
Charter base Baotić – Trogir
Trogir is truly a “city-museum,” rich in cultural and historical treasures. Visitors who appreciate art, unique architecture, and charming narrow streets will find Trogir captivating, as it offers a deep dive into heritage spanning from Roman times to the present. Marina Baotić, located close to this historic city, features 480 sea berths and 200 land berths. From this beautiful, modern marina, Ultra Sailing offers a selection of well-maintained sailboats and catamarans for rent, providing the perfect starting point to explore the stunning Adriatic coast.
Charter base Split

Split, located in central Dalmatia, is Croatia’s second-largest city, with a population of just over 250,000. Its historic center, featuring Diocletian’s Palace, lies on a peninsula, with the ACI Marina Split stretching along its southwestern side. The marina is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Split International Airport and 15 minutes from the ferry port, which offers routes to Ancona, Italy. Split serves as an ideal starting point for sailing adventures to nearby Dalmatian islands, including popular destinations like Hvar, Brač and Vis. It’s also the home port for the Ultra Sailing School, with various Beneteau sailboats and Fountaine Pajot catamarans available at the Split charter base, perfect for exploring the Adriatic.
Charter base Dubrovnik
Komolac, home to ACI Marina Dubrovnik, has been a valued location since the 16th century, when the Sorkočević family chose it for its natural beauty and abundant resources. Surrounded by hills that provide shelter from winds and located by the fresh waters of the Ombla River, Komolac serves as an ideal retreat for modern sailors. ACI Marina Dubrovnik offers 425 sea berths and convenient amenities for mooring and maintaining vessels. From our Dubrovnik charter base, you can set sail on a range of Beneteau sailboats, from 31 to 50 feet, perfect for exploring the stunning Adriatic coast.
Charter base Pomer – Pula
Our newest charter base is located in Istria, at ACI Marina Pomer, nestled in Medulin Bay on the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula. This marina offers modern amenities including a reception and exchange office, ATM, high-speed WLAN, updated sanitary facilities with accessibility options, a laundry, seasonal shop, parking, a restaurant, and a swimming pool with a bar. Fuel is available nearby in Pješčana Uvala (11 nm) and the city port of Pula (18 nm). The base is conveniently situated about 10 kilometers from Pula Airport, making it easily accessible for our guests.
