The basic sailing course programme consists of the essential knowledge and skills you can acquire on sailing. During the course the theoretical skills of the sailing essentials, the sail aerodynamics, navigation skills, maneuvering with engine and sails, weather forecasting, avoiding collisions on the sea, safety on the sea, etc. are acquired.
In the practical part of the course a special attention is paid to the elementary sailing skills, where the attendants in the groups of maximal 5 course attendants with one instructor have enough time for gaining skills for independent sailing.
Basic sailing course is based in Trogir ( near Split ), where this environment is chosen for its incredible weather conditions with wind and sunny weather.
Participants are housed in apartments Bakica. Apartments and double rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, terrace with swimming pool, wireless Internet, kitchen and bathroom. Apartments have a beautiful view of the old city of Trogir, to which you can get just a few minutes on foot.
Breakfast is served in the apartments, and dinner in a restaurant Jidro, one of the best restaurants in Trogir situated in the heart of the city.
Breakfast and dinner are included in the price. Lectures are held in the courtyard of the apartment on the terrace with a swimming pool.

Basic sailing course programme:
Sat - Day 1
• Arrival in base Trogir until 11:00 hours, manual distribution, introducing other crew members, forming of groups and proceeding to sailing boats which are lying in marina
• Getting familiar with basic terminology, demonstrating how to adjust sails and leaving marina
• After leaving marina, adjusting the sails on Your own and practicing holding the direction, practicing how to tack and gybe and learning the knots
