This is the invitation to all friends of sailing to join us on this new adventure.
 

Korfu - Greece

Korfu, the island of delightful natural beauty, sond and dance, eternal inspiration, a place that combines cosmopolitan spirit and tradition, and gives you unforgetable impressions when it comes to beautiful surroundings. The ones that read Homer will remember Korfu as the last page of Odyssey's journey to Ithaki. The island that people call „the green island“ and comparing it with our Korcula. The most beautiful beaches of the Greek archipelago are the ones on Korfu, which offer to the most demanding needs for photographers. Situated on the north side of the Ionian sea, the closest island is Paxi, Lafkada, Ithaki, Kefalonia i Zakynthos.

According to Greek mythology the island got the name by a beatiful nymfa Korkyra, the wife of Poseidon. On the east side of the island, accross Albania, the land smoothly descent to the sea leaving befind beautiful coves and long beaches. The west side is dramatic, steep and rocky with deep coves. Around Korfu there are many small islands making the image like small satellites, and on the north there are mountains descending to the lake Korission, separated by the sea only with a small piece of land. On Korfu light climate conditions and bearable heat that on the other Greek islands. West side of the island impresses with long sandy beaches. The inner land will convince you to island's uncorrupted tradition; fertile fields with the smell of orange and lemon, with centuries olive trees and most common transport – the donkeys.
