> Ultra sailing school - sailing boats

ULTRA Sailing School was established in the autumn of the year 1995 and it was founded thanks to a few Croatian representatives in the Olympic sailing category and the experiences of the similar schools in the range of countries where these representatives used to compete. Main offices are in Split and Zagreb and the headquarters of the School is situated in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar with the rooms and moorings of the company ULTRA Sailing School.

Elementary and advanced seven-day-courses have their venue in Trogir.
Meals and accommodation in Trogir are included in price.

ULTRA Sailing School, in accordance with its levels, prepares its course attendants both theoretically and practically for undergoing for examinations for the purpose of obtaining the SKIPPER license. As required, it arranges the examinations in the Port Authority in Split – branch office Milna.

ULTRA Sailing School's establisher and leading role is Emil Tomašević, lecturer at Faculty of Maritime studies, Croatian representative in the most famous Olympic class Finn and Laser, author of guide for sailors „Sailor's skills“, with more than 20000 nautical miles in sailing.
Summer base menager is Irina Matošević, dipl. kinesiologist, national champion in class „Cruiser“ experienced in providing the needs for attendants, sailing enthusiast with more than 10000 nautical miles in sailing with clients and delivery.

The School instructors are Croatian representatives in the Olympic categories with their outstanding sailing experience longer than fifteen years and the years-long experience of the professional skippers in the nautical tourism.

The associates of the ULTRA Sailing School are famous Croatian sailing names such as Minski Fabris, Sandi Lulić , Ravi Copić, Toni Bulaja, Goran and Ivan Ivanković.

Apart from the work with course attendants in Croatian language there is a possibility for taking courses in English, French and Italian.

Ultra sailing school has its own sailing manual on Croatian language and the program is well adopted on English as well.

The Basic sailing course is held on the sailing boat Beneteau First 7500, a 7.5 meter sailboat easy-to-handle and very sensitive on every move of the rudder which is perfect for attendants to know exactly how to adjust their sailboat at any point.

Advanced sailing course allows you to learn the fine adjustment of the sails as well as sailing with asymmetric spinnaker or just spinnaker. This level is important and will show you how it is great to use advance sailing methods in gaining more fun and faster sailing. The course is going on Firsts 7500 and First 34.7

Family sailing course has been designed for families who want to spend their holidays aboard and refresh the elementary skills of sailing; this course requires less physical efforts than it is needed for other program.  Boat originally used First 7500 .

Navigation sailing course as the crown of all courses where you gain your experience at sea living and sailing for seven days. It gives you a complete different feeling about sailing. Night navigation, all condition sailing, cooking on board, safety, docking, anchoring, all you need for independant and sailing and cruising. Boat used First 34.7 and First 47.7 .

For those who want more we have our regatta courses and Malta, adventure sailing course. In regattas you sail with the best Croatian skippers as crew members and you have a chance to participate regattas such as: Komiza, Hvar, Mrduja, Vis, Barcolana, Christmas and other.

Ultra sailing school gives you the knowledge to sail on your own and to become a sailor that respects the laws of sea. Through the courses you will have a chance to meet other people that share the enthousiasm with you when it comes to sailing and gives you the opportunity to make your own crew.
