CHARTER MANAGEMENT

Trust us, we know about these things, we’ve been building the experience for 11 years now starting from 1997. We’ve learned a lot, every day we learn something new and keep changing along with the market time and desires of seamen and sailors who own sailboats or charter one of our sailboats, and return to our base again and again.
What is good and successful, we don’t change.
We don’t change the shipyard that we cooperate with, Beneteau is still our only choice.
We don’t change the energy of the people who are in love with sailing which we had back in 1997.
We don’t change enthusiasm and youth among our staff, that is something that we take good care off, that is our recepie and a way to be successful in a business that requires lots of patience and knowledge to make everyone involved very satisfied, you as the owner of the sailboat, a sailor who chartered the sailboat and finally our company as service provider.

Everything else is technical, organisation, sometimes trend ,this is where we change in order to stay successful.
We don’t want to do anything else except this business. Be a part of this successful team and trust us with you dreams of your sailboat, let your dreams become a reality.

Charter management, to keep it simple, would be a sum of our care for your sailboat sum of chartering and maintaining your sailboat or a saiboat that becomes yours after a period of 6 years for less money than it was worth when buying it for the first time.

Let us simplify this for you, we deal with two things, two versions, let’s take one at the time:

First version - very common in Croatia for the clients that own the sailboat and open a independant way of financiing it (leasing or credit) shortly it looks like this;
Brutto gain from chartering is divided 65%-35% to the owner or financial body ,client and our company. With our 35% we pay agency commissions for the booking, merketing fees and maintaining the saiboat in the season of chartering .
With Your 65% You pay all sailboat fees that do not include our work and are not covered with the charter insurance, the most expencive fees are annual berth , annual insurance, spare material , bank rates and so on .
In other words, we are payed for our work and the rest goes to the saiboat , the fees of financing (credit or leasing at your own choice) are fees of the client and the client takes care of it himself as mentionned before.
Total income is calculated after the discounts which we approve by the terms of the pricelist and it includes VAT.

Second version – our financing and care; usual for large international charter operators and clients outside Croatia. Client pays to charter company 50% of the value of the sailboat, from the bank that finances the sailboat takes the guarantee for taking over the debt in case the charter company gets into financial problems.
More important part , after 6 years the sailboat becomes exclusivly the ownership of the client and leaves the charter management program. In the meantime the owner has no obligations nor fees.
The only obligation for the owner is to confirm the dates when he plans to use the sailboats and he can take one week in period A or B and two weeks outside the charter season.

USING THE SAILBOAT – OWNER’S WEEKS

First version- one week during period A or B and two weeks outside the season (01.10.-01.05.) we let You use the sailboat but with prior reservation.
We recommend using available weeks for more successful charter season for Your sailboat.
Second version two weeks in period A or B and two weeks outside the season (01..10.-01.05.)

END OF CHARTER MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME

When the Charter management program ends You can keep the sailboat or replace it with the new one.
