WHO SHOULD CHOOSE SKIPPERED BOAT:
Skippered boat can be choosed by a familly or group of friends who would like to leave the responsibility to a skipper.
Skipper's or sailing licence is not obligatory.
Sailing skills are not necessary but those who would like to participate in daily sailing can simply learn from skipper.
Sometimes we even have advanced skipper requests for regattas so even the experienced crews sometimes choose
someone who will be master of boat in purpose of having more pleasure in chartered term.

SKIPPER ON BOARD:
Our skippers are professional, experienced with skippered boat in Croatia, Greece, Italy ...
They are all Croatian  but speaking few languages, age between 25-50 and registrated for skippered
charter (licence and open firm).
Some of them have long experience, starting as a kids in sailing clubs in Croatia and choosing
skippers job as life proffesion.
Skipper responsibility is to do check in/out of tehnical part of boat, advice the crew about
route, moorings and weather conditions. Sometimes skipper can not provide route that you imagined
because of the weather condition but in purpose of your and boat safety.
We will make every effort to ensure maching the right skipper with the right group.
That is why we have "skipper request form" that will be asked to be filled up.

CHOOSING ROUTE WHILE SKIPPERED BOAT:
You are welcomed to have your own idea about route and discuss it with skipper.
If kids are on board skipper will adjust route and maybe make a routes shorter.











 

SKIPPERS FEE:
Skipper cost is 120€ per day and it is custom that skipper has meals with crew.
Payment of skipper will be done during your check-in in our base office.
After your return skipper has obligatory to issue an invoice for recived payment.

SKIPPERED BOAT BENEFITS:
Skipper takes care about tehnical part of boat, moorings and safety of crew.
Skippers usually know all best mooring places, best restaurants and have their own info sources from
local people.
Skippers knowledge can be treasure that can make your active holidays easier and more relaxed.

ADVICES WHEN BOOKING SKIPPERED BOAT:
Always ask for the "skipper request form" where you can fill the details such as non-smoking
skipper, english or some other language speaker, etc.
If choosing a skipper it is the best to book a boat with cabin for skipper so all can have privacy

HOW TO BOOK SKIPPERED BOAT:

1. First think about base which will be the most suitable for your flight ticket
DESTINATIONS AND AIRPORTS ( We can offer 3 best starting bases ):
-DUBROVNIK - airport Dubrovnik (distance aprox 25KM)
-TROGIR - airport Split (distance aprox 12KM)
-SPLIT - airport Split(distance aprox 25 KM)
All airports are very well connected with Zagreb, Rome, Franfurt, London, Barcelona, Oslo, Stockholm....
Transfer from airport to base can always be ordered extra in our booking office.

2.HOW TO BOOK:
If you have already choosen Dubrovnik or Split area as your destination and already know what type of sailing boat you are
looking for then start "search engine" on our web pages.
If you need advice about choosing suitable boat please contact booking directly .
Booking office is open from 08:00-20:00 hour (Mon-Fri) and you will recive an answer in 30 minutes for all your requests.

NECESSERY DOCUMENTS -SKIPPERED BOAT and SAFETY DEPOSIT:
As skipper will have Valid sailing licence and VHF licence, your crew just need to have passport or ID.
SAFETY DEPOSIT:
All boats are insured and even with skipper on a board safety deposit must be left in case that
damage is done because of the crew foult (for example broken window ).
REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT - Charged by credit card(prefer) or in cash.
After returning boat and tehnical check out with skipper deposit amount will be unblocked (returned to the client).
Safety deposit is for part that insurance does not cover, for example lost dinghy, or broken window.
If the damage is smaller than safety depost( for example lost fender aprox 200 HRK) we will unblock your card anyway
and charge amount of real cost ( for example fender 200 HRK).If it is skippers foult than skippers insurance covers damage.
All damages should be reported imidiatelly on support number.
